So.Damn.Tired

Stupid job. Our largest fund raising event was Tuesday, I had a sponsor event last night and have another one tonight. Guess what? I'm OLD for crying out loud! Running around a theater coordinating sound checks, cocktail receptions, meet and greets, coddling artists - this shit is exhausting I tell you!

Feel free to feel very sorry for me and marvel that I showed up here AT ALL!

BUT - More signs of spring! Last weekend was actually sunnyish and warmish.

Time to get a little gardening done.

Everything looks dead doesn't it?

But look, daffodils!

Crocus!

Daises!

Geum!

The Saint rototilled (hmm, might not be a word....) my new garden plot!

We had precipitation this week that WASN'T snow, sleet or frozen rain! Despite the fact that today is gray, cold and dreary seeing hints of green is making my day! How do things look in your neck of the woods?

In the past three weeks, most of our snow has melted, except for the huge mountains in shopping center parking lots. Our daffodils are coming up, but nowhere close to blooming yet. As long as it doesn't snow again, I'm happy with everything.

We have been having rain every week. Everything is green and I know if I got my annuals in I would be so happy a month from now--but it's not happening.

It's that old and tired and not used to working EVERY DAY thing!

What a thrill! My yard will look like yours in another month, so thanks for giving me a "green fix" until then.

My yard looks mostly dead. The green is trying to come through.

Good luck getting past that tired thing. Isn't the sleeping naked working? Aren't you glad you aren't getting up with a baby every three hours? Just thought I'd throw that idea at you.
