So.Damn.Tired
Stupid job. Our largest fund raising event was Tuesday, I had a sponsor event last night and have another one tonight. Guess what? I'm OLD for crying out loud! Running around a theater coordinating sound checks, cocktail receptions, meet and greets, coddling artists - this shit is exhausting I tell you!
Feel free to feel very sorry for me and marvel that I showed up here AT ALL!
BUT - More signs of spring! Last weekend was actually sunnyish and warmish.

Time to get a little gardening done.

Everything looks dead doesn't it?

But look, daffodils!

Crocus!

Daises!

Geum!

The Saint rototilled (hmm, might not be a word....) my new garden plot!
We had precipitation this week that WASN'T snow, sleet or frozen rain! Despite the fact that today is gray, cold and dreary seeing hints of green is making my day! How do things look in your neck of the woods?

small lowercase squee
My job is...well...a job. We have two children in college so having a job is good, right? And remember I was out of the work force from 1988 to 2005 so I basically started over at age 42.
I would love nothing more than to go into the shenanigans of my crazy ass boss; but I've heard that people have lost jobs over that shit so I will say just this: It is very, very, very difficult for me to work for a person I don't have a lot of respect for.
Yesterday the personnel committee met. They gave me a 10% raise. I guess I'll see if that makes it any easier.

Worth a Post? Hard to Say
Oops, I didn't mean to fall off the edge of the earth. But what have I been up to that's worth writing about?
That I missed my blogoversary back on August 10th?
That I turned 47 on Monday?
That I haven't heard back about my last interview BUT got called for an interview from the second resume I sent out?
That the Precious Daughters are busy navigating new college classes?
That my parents are celebrating their 48th wedding anniversary today?
I just don't know. What do you think?

Gulp
Things at work have been lackluster. Busier than shit, but not engaging. Too much work that other people should be doing. Under paid, over worked and under appreciated. You hear me?
So I polished up my resume. I took a look at what was out there. I sent two resumes out today. Testing the waters. And I have an interview. TOMORROW!
Holy shit people, I don't even know if I want the job. I was testing the fucking WATER! Now what?
