Cabo San Lucas is on the tip of the Baja Peninsula. If you sail south from Cabo you won't hit land again until Antarctica. One of my GNO girls and her husband have a time share in Cabo. They very generously donated a week to our group for our girls get away. It was a lovely two bedroom, three bath condo. But the best feature was the beautiful balcony.
The view was looking out over the harbor on the gulf side
We had our morning coffee out there every day. Each morning two boats would arrive at one of the docks.
Members of the Mexican armed services (Navy maybe?) would march in formation to this platform
and raise the Mexican flag.
We also had a good view of the pier where the fishing boats came back to deliver their days catch. We saw this Marlin the first day and it the largest fish we saw all week.
In the evening we would enjoy an alfresco happy hour.
It leaves me wondering why in the name of all that is holy why I came home!

Ooooh, what a lovely getaway!
A little slice of heaven.
Ditto what Jenn said.
I can smell the fresh sea air from here!
That's the worst thing about vacations... coming back to reality and all the work.
Such beautiful pictures. I love the beach! I've never been to Cabo, but I sure would like to go someday.
