She is perplexed as to why she has not shed ONE SINGLE POUND! We do everything the SAME! I drink coffee in the morning and so does she
Although I don't have much of an appetite in the early morning I do make myself eat cereal for breakfast and so does she
I do think fruits and vegetables are an important part of a good diet and so does she
I think consumption of whole grains is important and so does she
I think a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack is often a good idea
and to keep hydrated throughout the day.
On and on it goes. I am at a loss as to what to say to this individual. So dear readers, any thoughts?

Apparently keen observation is not part of your coworker's skill set...
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND how people can reach adulthood seemingly without the slightest knowledge about healthy eating. I am very overweight myself but not because I don't know any better. I know when I make choices that will contribute to weight gain (or at least maintenance) or loss. *sigh*
Can you tell her, kindly but clearly, that she is not making the same choices that you are making? It's not judgment of her, it's simple fact.
If you want to be subtle and kind, what about reading the book "French Women Don't Get Fat" and then leaving it on your desk for her to notice? Maybe she'll be inspired to read it and, if so, I feel reasonable confident that she'll learn where she's making some mistakes.
I'm pretty sure she knows she's lying to herself!
There's no way someone breathing can be that dumb. How can you not understand the difference between a whole grain cereal and a sugar-loaded one? Black coffee as opposed to one loaded with sweetners? I think she's just in denial. I mean, I'm fat...but I KNOW why. Although I don't know how someone could consume that much sugar and not be sick!
