In which I revisit my New Years resolution

Aside from:

A. The poor photography, which I did myself

AND

B. The clear need for Botox injections

What do you think?

I'm still having a little trouble adjusting. Because the lenses are progressives my peripheral vision seems blurry. The Saint assures me it will sort itself out in a weeks time, but that sounds kinda long to me.

I love your glasses. I wear them only to read...but wouldn't mind wearing them all the time.

Love the frames! I've never had bifocals so I can't be of much help there.

The glasses look great! I like the way the color compliments your hair.

I like the glasses. I need to go get myself some...

Oh and no to botox. Enough red wine will smooth out any lines. Honest. :)

I like them--you'll adjust in no time. Then (like me) you'll need to get sunglasses made with progressive lenses because you can't read text messages when you're in the car (at a stop light of course).

Love the glasses! It will take a while to get used to them, especially since this is new territory for you. Be patient but don't be afraid to go back for an adjustment if they just aren't getting comfy and normal after a few weeks.

I've heard that about glasses--they do look very funky on you, though!

Those are nice frames! It took me about ten days to adjust to my progressive lenses. You just have to remember to point your nose where you want to look and not try to look out of the corner of your eyes. You'll get used to the peripheral thing in time.

Having said that, my second set of P.L.'s were just wrong, wrong, wrong. The optician let me choose the wrong frames and I never could wear them. I finally gave up after 2 adjustments and went back to Walmart (I know) where I've always had great success with glasses. I had tried to use an independent dr. and I don't know what his problem was, but he didn't cut it. So, I'm stickin' with WallyWorld.

They look great! What you describe about the peripheral vision problems is just something you have to get used to. I always find myself turning my head to look through the front of my glasses to see clearly.

Just say no to botox! Take your glasses off to look at yourself, you won't see any wrinkles.
