Burning Questions

I am 42 pages into The Used Word by Haven Kimmel. I bought it because I LOVED A Girl named Zippy. But I'm just not getting into it, you know? So tell me, have you read it? Do I press on or abandon ship book?

Haven't read either of those, but did read one of her others (can't think of the name right now) and wasn't blown away to be honest.

Give it one more chapter and if you're still not into it, put it down. Life's too short! :)

I say stick with it. There's real payoff - gorgeous writing and some real surprises. Her other memoir, She Got Up Off the Couch, picks up where Zippy left off, and it's an even better book. Maybe it's that style and tone you connect with.
