I can't believe I'm saying this

What.The.Fuck. I’ve been walking around for the last three days thinking if I don’t get my period soon I am going to have a nervous breakdown..

It is no secret. I’ve not always had a good relationship with my uterus. In the last twelve months or so my cycle has been erratic at best. Sometimes my periods are 21 days apart, sometimes six weeks apart, sometimes 4 MONTHS apart. I KNOW! There’s no planning. Every time I travel I pack “supplies” because who the hell knows if this won’t just be the time Aunt Flo shows up for a visit.

I am now on day 58. I should be happy, no? NO! I feel so on edge, so cranky, so crabby, so…dare I say it…like a bitch who will stab the next person who so much as BREATHES wrong in my presence that I’m ready to explode.

I swear on all that is mother effing holy, if this pressure is not released and soon? I will not be responsible for my actions.

Ugh. So sorry. I can only suggest lots of water and, if you feel up to it, some exercise, like walking or swimming.

Oh, and chocolate is definitely part of the treatment. :-)

You have every right to be angry--I'd be pissed too. That's awful.

I hope you get relief soon.

Ugh. How I hated those days! Just make sure your jury is made up of women.

Perimenopause sucks. Big-time. When I was in my 40's I told my doctor I was going to invent a Home Hysterectomy Kit.

Now I'm not so Peri...I only have my period about every 4 months and it only lasts about 1 day.

I definately agree with Jen about the chocolate. Try not to hurt anybody.

take it from one who's not had one of those for nearly a year now, it gets much better! Hang in there, things will improve. In the meantime, exercise, eat plenty of protein, lots of dark chocolate, and, of course red wine!

After two periods in February - I had none in March. Then a small one at the end of April.

Chocolate and red wine. Cures just about everything.

Ugh. You know I often wonder why bloggers don't blog about their periods more. I mean it's gotta be one of the most perfect places to vent about it.

Sorry about the non event though...

Oh, and I'm with the rest, red wine and chocolate WILL help or at least can't hurt.
