These things made me smile:
Meeting her for lunch
The note she left for us
The phone ringing when I was fixing dinner. Precious Youngest answered. It was her sister calling to say she had arrived safely. I only heard one end of the conversation:
"OK"
"OK"
"I'll tell them"
Going upstairs to find that......
* Precious Oldest had cleaned her room......
The trash can was empty.
Maybe there's hope for us yet!

Awww, you really have a couple of good kids there, Fannie. I love the note, and especially the notepaper. lol
And her room! Think the vacuum and dustpan were hints? That's sweet though, to clean up before she leaves, isn't it? It's always so nice to think that maybe, just maybe something you said (nagged, yelled, whatever) along the way actualy did sink in.
and you laughed at me!
Maybe they read your blog and felt guilty?
YAY! Glad the chores are working out. Also? I call my dogs the little terrorists too. (they are schnauzers)
Now those were some beautiful pictures. Clean. I even like the way that word FEELS coming off my tongue. Clean. Beautiful word.
